Catalogue questions
Ask the catalogue, get an answer
Three questions that arrive during a first meeting:
Catalogue Agent reads the question in Claude or ChatGPT, queries the composed model in Enterspeed Core with role-based access enforced at the data layer, and returns an answer with citations back to the actual record and field.
Answering any of them by hand means opening the PIM, exporting a subset, filtering it in Excel and remembering what ready means for that market.
Nobody logs into another system and nobody exports anything, and the answer is right because the query ran against the same model that serves the storefront.
How it works
One question, three systems, citations on the answer
Catalogue Agent works with any large language model, so the question is asked in whichever assistant the organisation already uses.
Step one
Question asked
The model interprets the intent and calls Catalogue Agent with structured parameters: market, channel, completeness threshold, missing attribute.
Step two
Query composed
Catalogue Agent queries the composed model in Enterspeed Core, which holds the master record with per-market extensions, composed rather than merged. A user restricted to one brand or region sees only what their role permits.
Step three
Answer returned
Back comes a structured result: the count, the affected SKUs, the fields that are missing or incorrect, and citations to the source record.
Step four
Answer written
The model turns that structure into a sentence in the thread. The person who asked clicks through to the product record and sees which field is incomplete.
A single query can ask for products complete in one market's B2B portal, without conflating it with the consumer catalogue in that market or the B2B portal in another.
Scope
The master data and the stable reporting stay where they are
Catalogue Agent answers the question someone asks in the moment, with citations back to the record.
Catalogue Agent carries
- The translation from a natural-language question into a query
- The access check, applied as the query runs
- The citation back to the record and the field
- The question that was not on the dashboard when it was asked
Your systems keep
- Your PIM: the product master and the taxonomy
- Your ERP: pricing, stock and vendor data
- Your asset management system: the images and documents
- Your BI tools: stable KPI tracking, compliance reporting and auditable snapshots
Catalogue Agent enforces the access rules you define in Enterspeed Core, so the assistant inherits the access model you already maintain.
