Someone sets an alarm to deploy the member price at midnight, because the system cannot distinguish between 'ready' and 'live'. The portal shows list prices to a contract customer, so they phone the order in instead. The campaign starts online at midnight and on the shelf at ten the next morning. Three partners are selling from three different versions of the price list, and quotes are built in spreadsheets because the contract price is not in a system anyone can reach.
The promotion works online and not at the till, so the cashier overrides it by hand. The basket total differs from the sum of the product pages, and nobody can explain the difference.
