Professional Services Engineer

Help define how we implement. And be the one doing it.

We’ve been doing Professional Services at Enterspeed for a while – and it’s working. Now we’re formalising it into a real team, and we’re looking for the person who wants to help shape what that becomes. You’ll be joining an existing colleague, working hands-on with customers, and having a direct say in how we build the practice: the playbooks, the standards, the way we work. If you want ownership without starting from zero, this is it.

Overview

Enterspeed is a tech scale-up building two products: Enterspeed Core – a high-performance data orchestration platform that decouples backend systems and orchestrates data across your entire stack – and Speedtrain, an agentic content accelerator that uses GenAI to turn existing data into publish-ready content across markets and channels.

Our customers are agencies, enterprises, and digital teams. They deploy Enterspeed in increasingly complex IT landscapes: headless CMS setups, PIM/ERP integrations, legacy modernisation projects, and composable architectures. As we scale, we need to make sure every customer gets to production successfully and gets value fast.

That’s why we’re growing the Professional Services team – and looking for a senior engineer who wants to help define what great implementation looks like at Enterspeed.

What you’re helping build

Professional Services at Enterspeed has momentum. You’ll be joining a colleague who’s already in the work, and together you’ll be formalising and scaling the practice. That means:

  • Shaping how we onboard and implement with customers – technically and operationally
  • Building the playbooks, templates, and documentation that let the team scale
  • Raising the bar for what a successful Enterspeed implementation looks like
  • Working closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to connect customer reality to our roadmap

There’s real ownership here – and a colleague to build it with.

What you’ll actually do day-to-day

The core of this role is implementation work – you’ll be embedded in customer projects, writing code and building integrations that get Enterspeed running in production on real systems.

  • Implementation delivery – taking ownership of customer implementation projects end-to-end: designing data models, building integrations against customer systems (CMS, PIM, ERP), and shipping to production
  • Technical onboarding – guiding customers through their first Enterspeed integrations: connecting data sources, configuring schemas, and delivering a working API
  • Integration engineering – writing the glue code, building custom ingest pipelines, and solving the messy real-world problems that come with connecting complex systems
  • Training & enablement – running technical workshops and writing documentation that empowers customers to take ownership after go-live
  • Product feedback loop – translating real implementation pain into concrete product improvements, directly influencing our roadmap

This is not a helpdesk role. You’ll be doing billable implementation work – reading customer codebases, understanding their architecture and constraints, and delivering solutions that hold up in production.

We’re looking for someone who

  • Has 5+ years of hands-on experience integrating web systems – CMS, PIM, ERP, or similar – ideally in a headless or composable architecture context
  • Is a capable backend developer – most implementation work is in .NET/C# on Microsoft Azure, with JavaScript/TypeScript in the mix. You’ll be writing real code on customer projects
  • Understands REST APIs and how data flows through modern web stacks
  • Is a strong communicator who can adapt technical explanations to different audiences – from a junior developer to a CTO
  • Can work independently with customers and manage multiple engagements at once
  • Is energised by shaping something while doing the work – not just executing a playbook someone else wrote

Bonus points if you have:

  • Familiarity with composable architecture or commerce
  • Experience in a Solutions Engineer, Implementation Consultant, or similar Professional Services role
  • Any exposure to Microsoft Azure or cloud-native infrastructure
  • Frontend experience or understanding – knowing how data surfaces in the browser helps when working across full-stack customer projects
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (we currently run on Claude)
